The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Fighters Party

Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, recently appointed game master Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with extensive world-building, a wide array of characters, and a gripping narrative showcasing celestial beings, demons, and malevolent powers increasing in strength within Dol-Makjar.

Note: Spoilers for the third episode of Campaign 4 follow below.

The Warrior Group Revealed

Episode 3 ended with a dramatic pause and revealed the first table of characters who will split off from the main group to undertake their independent quest, separate from the other two tables.

The Soldiers table includes Teor (played by the voice actor), Thimble (Laura), Tyranny (Whitney Moore), Wicander (Sam Riegel), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie Daymond).

The Reason for Division

Considering a large ensemble, it was clear from the outset that maintaining everyone at one table would be unfeasible.

This explains, the first four episodes of the new season serve as an Overture, intertwining the characters’ stories before dividing into three smaller tables: Soldiers, Planners, and Explorers.

The Nature of the Warrior Group

Per the Dungeon Master, the combat-focused party is for players who prefer a classically intense fight-heavy narrative style where peaceful solutions are scarce.

At first glance, figures such as the hesitant healer the cleric might look out of place, but the developments of episode 3 make it clear why these particular heroes are perfectly fit for the combat party.

Why They Must Go

To begin with, the team has a clear idea where to go next after a brutal initial meeting with The Crow Keepers.

An old friend of Thjazi Fang—whose death initiated the campaign’s events—exploited the enemy for his own means, entering the hidden lair, striking Thimble, and swiping all the enchanted items to sell off.

Casimir then cleared his debts and escaped to a secure base in Gormalay, Timmony, beyond the urban center, with Teor’s brother pursuing him.

Character Drivers

Additionally, each character has a individual motive to exit the metropolitan area:

  • The agile hero, as the companion and closest confidant, wants vengeance.
  • The knowledgeable figure is familiar with the region and advises that it is a hostile place.
  • The warrior and Wicander, having resisted his family’s wishes to eliminate the fighter and instead saved him, have no safe haven.
  • But, their reputation as key figures in House Halovar could enable the party reach places they usually can’t.
  • Moreover, The grateful character vowed a life debt to The savior for his salvation and will now accompany him anywhere.

Fugitives

In addition, all of them are sought by the rulers that rule Dol-Makjar for a range of causes, making remaining behind no longer safe:

  • The rogue and The hero are known criminals.
  • The strong figure and The cleric betrayed House Halovar and the legion of demons they are allied with.
  • The fighter is targeted for elimination by the family.

This results in them few options but to head to Timmony in search of the antagonist.

Future Episodes

According to the recent installment’s Cooldown, we find out that the Soldiers table won’t be around in the upcoming installment, leaving the other eight cast members to assemble the Explorers and Planners groups.

Fans can look forward to discovering which players will be assigned to which table in Campaign 4’s final introductory chapter, streaming live on the upcoming Thursday.
